Dr. David J. Leu graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 2005. A native of Wisconsin, he relocated to Johnson City in 2013 to be closer to his wife's family. Dr. Leu enjoys taking his kids to the lake, and playing golf and racquetball. The Leu family currently shares their home with 4 dogs, 2 cats, and a revolving door of foster animals.
Dr. Leu's chiropractic philosophy is simple... the body has an extraordinary ability to heal when neurologic pathways are functioning properly. His goal is to identify and treat the cause of painful symptoms related to spinal misalignment and muscle imbalances, and to promote longevity and improved quality of living. By applying light pressure to the spine and extremities, he successfully corrects the area of imbalance over time by restoring the body to its proper form. Most of his adjustments are manual (by hand), but Dr. Leu can employ the use of a drop table or activator for patients that need a more customized treatment approach. Other therapy approaches include deep tissue manual therapy, electromuscular stimulation, ultrasound, dry needling, cryotherapy, and custom orthotics.
